The idea of rafting Panama's rivers was born when we discovered the potential excitement flowing through various rapids among the Chiriqui rivers. The province holds many resources, waiting to be capitalized. After the country’s republic government stabilized in 1990, our family decided to embark on the idea of a river rafting business. With the help various locals, we pumped up our second-hand Avon raft, donned helmets and took the plunge on a first descent down the Río Chiriqui. Packed with tremendous rapids and deceptive hydraulics, the river surpassed all expectations. We emerged with endless smiles, excitement, and a plan. Like a true family-run operation, reservations were taken from our kitchen phone and lunches were prepared assembly line on our dining room table. Since 1995, we have become the largest and most established rafting company in Panama. In addition, we boast to have conducted the most first-descent expeditions down some of Panama's toughest rivers. Over the years, we have influenced the increasing genuine interest among Panamanians and international rafters alike. As a result we are extremely proud that our company has effectively placed the small Republic of Panama on the map as a river-rafting destination for thrill seekers of all levels.
